[Narrator] Annacis Research Centre (ARC) is a recovery research facility located on Annacis Island, in Delta, BC. The Centre’s main purpose is to provide research space for the exploration of water resource recovery, wastewater technology, and pilot projects that need to work with wastewater streams or available potable water hookups.
[Dean Shiskowski, Vice President, Water Resource Recovery, Associated Engineering] The Annacis Research Facility, it’s a great facility to do this kind of research because one of the objectives of our research is to use real wastewater, and that’s a commodity that is not easy to get often, even in academic institution settings. So doing it here at the ARC, because it has those kinds of commodities available directly makes our experimental set up much easier logistically.
[Narrator] ARC is a certified LEED Platinum building, with free parking and customizable outdoor space. The location offers affordable and comparable lease prices. Reliable wastewater flows, indoor research space, a customizable crane, shared tool crib, meeting rooms and WIFI.
[Joel Hunter, Research Assistant, Advanced Thermo-Fluidic Laboratory] The Annacis Research Centre is perfect for the development of our device because we have access to the wastewater straight from the treatment centre versus having it shipped out to our campus in Kelowna.
[Narrator] Annacis Research Centre can be leased from 3 months to multiple years. Head to Annacis Research Centre for more information.
