A great opportunity for the whole family to get outside and enjoy Pacific Spirit Regional Park. Kids will love the game Snowberry the Mouse has created just for them. Adults can test their mystery-solving skills with a clue-based search. Meet at Salish Trail on 16th Ave. This event is part of the Wild About Vancouver Festival.
Birds in Focus – Photography Workshop
Sunday, April 19, Boundary Bay Regional Park, Tsawwassen First Nation – 9:00am – 1:00pm ($20, ages 13 and up)
Whether you love birding or photography or both, this event has something for you. Bring your camera and join photographer Ursula Easterbrook to explore basic to advanced photography skills and learn how to create stunning images of avian life. Burnaby Lake Regional Park Sunday, April 19 – 1:00pm – 4:00pm (free, ages 8 and up)
Join the Weedbusters and help the Burnaby Lake Park Association remove invasive plants that threaten native species. This Sunday they will be meeting at Glencairn Parking Lot and tackling Scotch Broom. For additional information visit the Park Association website at www.burnabylakepark.ca.
