Bear Essentials – Check it Out 2014

April 13, Kanaka Creek Regional Park – Keep people safe and bears wild. Learn about black bear ecology and understand how to coexist with our wild neighbours. Free, drop-in 1 to 4PM. Meet at the riverfront, south of Lougheed Highway and River Road, Maple Ridge. Info: 604-530-4983

As Metro Vancouver grows, we live in closer and closer proximity to bears. Understanding these fascinating creatures is one of the best ways to protect us and them. So, on April 13th, drop by Kanaka Creek Regional Park for Bear Essentials.  Spend an afternoon learning about black bear behaviour and ecology and how to co-exist with our wild neighbours.
